Sharper

Getting truly excited on Apple TV+ is about. The streaming service put out a new trailer today for their upcoming heist movie Sharper, which is set in the wealthiest parts of New York City as lies and secrets start to come out. Starting on February 10, the movie will be shown in select theaters, and then on February 17, it will only be available to stream on Apple TV+.

Max, a con artist played by Sebastian Stan and whose mother, Julianne Moore, has just started a relationship with a billionaire played by John Lithgow, appears in Sharper. After that, Max teams up with a friend, Briana Middleton, to seduce Justice Smith, the son of a billionaire, in a master plan to get a big payday. A "high stakes game of ambition, greed, lust, and jealousy" ensues, which "will keep audiences guessing until the very last moment." Darren Goldstein also appears in Sharper.

We are shown Max's con-man tendencies and his mother's ability to see right through them at the beginning of the trailer. He tries to pretend to be arrested so that her billionaire boyfriend can pay the fictitious cop, but she doesn't believe him. The remainder of the trailer hints at the suspense and mystery surrounding Max's plan as he and his accomplice execute their latest con. The movie's final line, "Can You Read Between The Lies," suggests that there may be more to it than the trailer suggests.
